Locally sudden storms. Locally gusts of SW, from midday north-west wind 35-40 knots, by the end of the day on northern, overnight on central adriatic north-east wind 35-55 knots.
2. Synopsis:
Trough with frontal disturbance shifting across the adriatic further to the SE.
3. Forecast for the next 24 hours valid until 13/05/2026 at 0400 UTC
Northern adriatic:
S/SW wind 12-24 knots, towards midday turning to N/NW, by the end of the day to north-east wind 15-30 knots, tomorrow towards morning decreasing to 6-16 knots, in velebitski kanal 10-20 knots.
Sea 3-4.
Visibility 5-15 km.
Variable cloudy with rain, locally thundery showers, possible heavier thunderstorms. In the afternoon gradually cessation of precipitation.
Central adriatic:
South-east wind 10-20 knots, on northern part/offshore south-west wind 12-24 knots. In the afternoon and firstly on northern part turning to NW 12-24 knots, overnight to NE 10-20 knots. Tomorrow towards morning north-east wind decreasing to 6-16 knots.
Sea 2-3, offshore 3-4.
Visibility 5-15 km.
